Since
1984 Fil and Helen have worked as a team beginning with the comic
Zooniverse which was published in the USA and began their career in
Hollywood. Working on over 200 episodes of TV and feature animation,
they set the style of characters which have entertained millions of
children around the world for over 28 years.

Fil's Zooniverse comic was published by
Eclipse in 1986. Back then it was rare to see an Australian creator owned
comic distributed in the USA.
Fil
has worked on many successful television shows for Hollywood since
1987, beginning with Alf the animated series, through to Extreme
Ghostbusters, Godzilla, Starship Troopers and Heavy Gear in 3D, Dark
Fury: Chronicles of Riddick, the feature film Igor and Tutenstein, for
which he won an Emmy.
He
has completed a series of 10 animations based on Zooniverse which can be viewed on the Loop De Loop website. Currently he's working on a new Zooniverse story to be published jointly by Image Comics for an American release and for Zoonitoons, Australia.
Helen Maier:Cartoonist and Animator
Helen
started her professional career in 1984 hand coloring the original
Zooniverse comic. She continued to work in Hollywood on the animated TV
show Alf. Then she became a member of the character design team
for Extreme Ghostbusters, Godzilla, Tutenstein and various other
animated television projects.
Recently
Helen has been painting covers for Prophet published by Image Comics.
She has produced twelve animations based on her own original concepts for
Loop De Loop. She's writing and illustrating a new comic story to be published jointly by Image Comics for an American release and for Zoonitoons, Australia.
